Great sense of stories, how La Cosa Nostra actually formed, worked and operates vs the sensationalized media version and just a general sense of how the Lower East Side evolved ethnically, economically, and turned into what it is today.

So much has changed. You get to see the actual places where the social clubs, nightclubs and childhood homes were but have to now use a bit of imagination to put yourself back in those eras.

The Lower East Side has the most fascinating history of any real estate in America so take as much opportunity to learn about it as possible!

Even if you have little interest, Eric, the founder and guide was so knowledgeable he made you want to know more. He’s not reciting a script, his son is the 5th generation to live in the area and has many personal stories.
A surprise highlight of the trip and would highly recommend for anyone.
